Childcare Attendant

Love babysitting and working with children? Join our team as a Childcare Attendant and be a part of our growing non-profit! You’ll help children engage, connect, and learn through play.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Childcare Coordinator, help execute childcare programs that meet the diverse needs and interests of Kaleo children while supporting and promoting their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development:
  • Programs take place at Kaleo events, including monthly Kaleo Connect events, special events, and other gatherings as needed (primarily evening and weekend hours).
• Work collaboratively as a team with other childcare attendants, staff, and volunteers during events.
• Oversee and ensure the health and safety of all children during events.
• Coordinate and assist at each event with the ability to quickly solve problems while still super-serving our moms and kids.
• Adhere to child/staff ratios; adjust as necessary to ensure ratios are always met.
• Maintain venue cleanliness and organization of Kaleo supplies.
• Make every person feel welcome, accepted, and valued.
• Perform other duties as required.
