Are you a natural host with the ability to make anyone feel welcomed? Join our team as a Kaleo Host to help single moms and their children connect, heal, and grow! Using your above-average organizational and planning skills, you’ll create memorable in-person events for our Kaleo families and help lead the way for our growing non-profit!

Responsibilities

  • Connect single mothers and lead events that help bring families together.
  • Plan small events from start to finish, including creative concepts, execution, and teardown.
  • Set the tone of our events by selecting themes, speakers, and guests for Kaleo events and bringing that vision to life.
  • Book venues, speakers, guests, childcare support, and activities for each event based on set themes.
  • Engage members on our Facebook group and proactively seek out topics and speakers of interest to our moms.
  • Collaborate on social media strategies and content to promote your events, assist with post creation, and engage with online communities to raise awareness of Kaleo Connect Events.
  • Find ways to engage with our members to increase attendance numbers.
  • Create a calendar of programming plans to be advertised to Kaleo Mom Members.
  • Track attendance and provide detailed budgets for each event.
  • Provide wrap-up reports and recommendations.
  • Develop event safety plans and protocols (e.g., muster points, first aid kits).
  • Coordinate and oversee each event, quickly solving problems while super-serving our families.
  • Make every person who walks through our doors feel welcome, accepted, and valued.
  • Perform other duties as required.

  • Availability on weekends for events and occasional weekday evenings if needed – including in-person and online events.
