Single Mom Resource Course

The Single Mom Resource Course will teach you practical tips, tools and strategies to reduce the exhaustion and stress of being a single parent.

Week 1 - Journaling for Self-care
Learn the value of regularly reflecting on your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to improve your emotional wellness.
Week 2 - Healthy Habits
Create new routines and drop the ones that are holding you back!
Week 3 - Time Management
Take hold of your time and discover the tips and secrets to making the most of a day while balancing family life.
Week 4 - Meal Planning
Learn great recipes and get the tools you need to make mealtime a breeze.
Week 5 - Budgeting Part 1
Get the basics of financial literacy and learn how to manage and balance your budget.
Week 6 - Budgeting Part 2
The next step in understanding your finances. Participants will leave with their own personalized budget plan.
Week 7 - Mind, Body, Stress Connection
Take an introspective look into how stress affects you, and how to better manage when life throws everything at you.
Week 8 - Creative Memory Making with Your Children
Take home new ways to truly connect and bond with your children!

Kids’ Classes

While moms participate in their resource course, children aged 5-10 will engage in a fun and supportive program designed to foster friendship, teamwork, confidence, and community values through interactive activities and creative play.
Week 1 - Getting To Know You!

Every friend we meet is unique and special! Through fun activities, we’ll explore how getting to know new friends helps us feel happy, safe, and connected.

Week Two: Busy Bees (In celebration of World Bee Day – May 20th!)

Bees are amazing team workers who help the world in big ways! This week, we’ll learn about their teamwork and how we can work together just like them.

Week Three: Celebrating Success

Everyone accomplishes great things every day! This week, we’ll take time to recognize and celebrate the big and small successes in our lives.

Week 4: I Am Super!

We all have our own superpowers that make us special. Even on tough days, we can remind ourselves of our strengths and find ways to feel confident and empowered.

Week Five: Teamwork makes the Dreamwork!

Working together makes tasks easier and more fun! This week, we’ll practice teamwork through games and activities that show the power of collaboration.

Week Six: Creating Space

Everything exists in a shared space, but sometimes we need space for ourselves. We’ll learn how to respect and create personal space while still feeling connected to others.

Week Seven: Community Roots

A strong community has many helpers! Like a tree with deep roots, the more we support each other, the stronger and healthier our community becomes.

Week 8: Task Masters!

Completing tasks takes patience, creativity, and problem-solving skills. This week, we’ll practice using these skills to take on fun challenges and master new tasks!
